KSU CRU

Freshmen Experience

1. Join the Kennesaw State CRU Facebook group

This is the best way for you to keep up with all the great stuff we’ll be doing once school starts this fall. Definitely join the group.

2. Find us at Orientation

During the Summer Orientation sessions we will have a table set-up during “Bash” where you can connect with other students and find out how to get plugged in over the summer and when school starts in the fall.

3. Come on the Freshman Overnight Camping Trip

We go camping the week before school starts. We head up to Red Top Mountain and spend one night camping. This year we leave Monday, August 10th and come back Tuesday, August 11th. The cost is $10. This is a great way to meet other freshman and start to build relationships before school even starts. Oh yeah, and it’s tons of fun! Register here.

4. Find us during Welcome Week

Cru will be in a lot of different places during Welcome Week. Look for us at the Bazaar on the Bricks, tables all around campus with FREE student planners and water, our Freshman Cookout, and of course at our weekly meeting on Monday nights at the Lutheran Church on Campus Loop Rd.

5. FRESH

Fresh is a community just for freshman. We meet during the first 8 weeks of school to connect with each other, study the Bible, and deal with life issues that come from transitioning to college. After the first 8 weeks, FRESH breaks into discipleship groups that meet throughout the year to continue building deeper relationships and studying how the Bible relates to our lives. Fresh will meet on Wednesdays at 8pm outside Hemingwayz Restaurant in the University Village.
